Storm a Brewin'
I stepped outside this evening to take a look and this is what I found. I have never seen a cloud cast a shadow like this before. My picture doesn't do it justice.

My Belated Halloween Photo

I had forgotten I took this picture. My husband downloaded it onto his computer and I just ran across it. So here is my late Halloween picture for all to enjoy. Managed to scare quite a few people with our decorations this year. Joy!

Tail Colors

I like the colors of this plane's tail section. So, I took a long break at work today to take pictures of it.

Leaf Drops

I really enjoy wandering around the backyard looking at things through new eyes. All of the sudden a plant that I overlook everyday has something beautiful to show me.

Tree Village

I have no idea what these things are that are growing on the oak tree leaves in my backyard. I imagine, though, that they are little huts that house tiny tree people.

I haven't been taking too many pictures lately so I'm posting one of my dog. I know, yawn.

Another One Bites the Dust

I've started a tradition in my family in which on the eve of your birthday you celebrate the previous year. You look back over that long year and try to evaluate how far you've come and then try to narrow it all down to a lesson that was learned.

It's as if pausing before you step across a threshold.

After the Rain

First off, I woke up to a gray sky that matched my mood. I really don't know if I'm up for four more years of my life trying to tune out the most annoying man alive. Things did get better as the day progressed, though, with the weather turning for a brief moment. I really am not a big fan of sky pictures, but I hadn't seen such a blue sky with big, white, fluffy clouds in quite some time. So, I snapped this picture from inside my sister's car.
